STATUTE OF THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF JOURNAL REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE
I. Competence of the Editorial Board
The Editorial Board of the Journal Regional Development Between Theory and Practice (hereinafter referred to as the "Editorial Board") is the executive body of the journal publisher.
II. Composition of the Editorial Board
The editorial board consists of a chairman (editor-in-chief) and members.
The executive editor acts in an advisory role on the editorial board.
III. Tasks of the Editorial Board
Chairman of the editorial board (editor-in-chief):
manages the work of the editorial board,
propose changes in the composition of the editorial board;
convenes the editorial board, submits the draft program, and manages its meetings,
acquaints the members of the editorial board with comments concerning the publication of the scientific journal.
Members of the editorial board:
evaluates the content focus of individual issues of a scientific journal published for the period between individual meetings of the Editorial Board,
submit proposals for contributions from individual areas of their expertise, recommend and acquire authors for their processing,
publish their own scientific contributions,
recommend reviewers for submitted contributions and carry out reviews themselves as necessary,
submit suggestions and comments on the content and graphic design of the journal,
submit proposals for changes to the Statutes of the Editorial Board.
IV. Meetings of the Editorial Board
The editorial board meets as needed. The editorial board can also meet online.
Extraordinary meetings of the Editorial Board take place based on a decision of the Chairman of the Editorial Board, at the request of the editorial board of a scientific journal or at the request of at least half of its members.
The Editorial Board has a quorum if an absolute majority of its members are present at its meetings. If necessary, per-rolam voting may be carried out.
The Executive Editor is regularly invited to meetings of the Editorial Board; other experts may be invited to attend meetings as necessary.
Peer Review Process
Each article published in the journal within its individual issues is reviewed by two independent reviewers using the so-called double-blind method. The reviewers for individual articles are approved by the editorial board before each review process for individual issues. A sample review is attached below.
